Poster Design
My challenge with this brief was to incorporate a visual identity, which complimented LENA's research and current representation, while building layers of trust into scientific study. My intention is a call to industry leaders, and publics alike, to take action in the early childhood education sector in their communities. I excelled amongst these challenges. My design pulls from visual scientific research: testing contrast checkers, utilizing Pilestone Color Blind Simulator, maintaining a column-appropriate-width for reading differences and applying a grayscale image treatment. The grayscale application is significant, as new babies are more perceptive to black and white, as their eyes are in the development stage. A goal was to make LENA fun and accessible to every generation.

I loved learning about LENA so much that I signed up for their email list and had the privilege of following along with some of their webinars. I always talk to babies, my instinct. It is nice to know there are so many people working to prove the benefits. It is such a joy getting to be able to celebrate this kind of work! Learn more about LENA Grow.
