Experience Design Goals & Achievements
Accomplishment: Summer 2023 migrated print edition to an email newsletter, improving readership, reducing costs, eliminating waste. This had been a goal of The Clarion for a long time. I am lucky to have been able to contribute to the evolution in progress. The print edition decreased in number of publications. Funding was reallocated toward developing a weekly E-Newsletter publication, which developed readership by improving accessibility.

Absorbed in Civil Listening - Photoshop Illustration with Kyle Brush Pack
My listening is not on autopilot. I put more effort into listening than speaking. The truth is, I consider listening to be a privilege. The ability to fully hear other’s perspectives, through their chosen words, is a gift of kindness from sender to receiver. A gift which nourishes my ethos, in the evolution of my own growth mindset. My listening bridges a pathway of empathy and understanding. My listening discovers a space where listener and speaker stand together...

Creativity in the Kitchen Makes Sense
I challenge myself. I search. I find. I try new things. I discover. I experience joy.
Over and over, my relationship with local produce is awakened, inspiring me to approach grocery shopping as a challenge, to buy as much local produce as possible.
The challenge often takes me outside of my comfort zone, to discover joy in new recipes. Recipes that I never thought I would like.
As a rule, when trying new or different foods, I keep the recipe selection simple and complement with familiar ingredients. This strategy keeps my mind open to experiencing new flavors
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among female born people (after skin cancer). According to Cancer.gov, 12.9% of female born U.S. citizens will develop breast cancer sometime during their lives. That is a 1 in 8 chance of being diagnosed with breast cancer.
While the main risk factor for breast cancer is being born female, cancer shows no bias. Breast cancer affects people of any gender, race or age.
To stand up against the risk of breast cancer, Madison College Peer Health Educators....
